In an exciting lead-up to the annual Pokémon Day, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have announced the return of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves as exclusive Five-Star Tera Raid bosses. This limited-time event allows trainers who missed out on previous encounters another opportunity to catch these sought-after Paradox Pokémon.

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are distinguished as the ancient and futuristic forms of Suicune and Virizion, respectively. Walking Wake boasts a dual Water and Dragon typing, while Iron Leaves is classified as Grass and Psychic. Importantly, these Pokémon are exclusive to their respective versions; thus, trainers looking to complete their Pokédex must engage in trading to acquire both. The last appearance of these Tera Raid bosses took place between late April and early May 2024.

Upcoming Tera Raids in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

  • Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are set to return as formidable Tera Raid foes.
  • The Paradox Tera Raid event runs from February 20 through February 27, 2025.
  • Walking Wake will be available in Pokémon Scarlet, while Iron Leaves can be found in Pokémon Violet.
  • This event culminates on Pokémon Day, marking a significant milestone for fans.

Each trainer can catch only one copy of Walking Wake or Iron Leaves per save file, so those who have previously captured them will not have another chance. Additionally, Walking Wake will feature the Water-Tera type, whereas Iron Leaves will showcase the Psychic-Tera type.

Furthermore, #PokémonLegends: Z-A is anticipated to release later in 2025, generating speculation about a potential Pokémon Presents episode shedding light on upcoming features.
