Paloma subsequently confronts Perle regarding both the situation with Joy and the viral video. Accusing Perle of turning her life into a reality TV show, Paloma’s confronts her, but Perle argues that her job is to have people talking about Paloma, rather than Vincent or Rovel. She then reveals that she found a new model to stand in for Joy and posted about it, which sends the audience into a frenzy.
As Perle views the video, it features Paloma announcing that Perle Foster will be making her runway comeback during the LEDU fashion show. Fast forward to the actual event, attended by Caroline Rovel, where models showcase Paloma’s designs, and when “The Divorcee”makes its debut, the audience erupts in cheers. She recounts how, during her last show for Vincent in 2005, he pressured her to lose six kilos in two weeks while she was pregnant with Victor’s child. While she doesn’t place all the blame on Vincent, she alludes to his role in the tragic outcome of her pregnancy.
Post-show, Perle recalls Vincent telling her that it would be her final runway appearance. Although she had slimmed down due to the extreme weight loss, Vincent ultimately dismissed her as “too old” to model.
