This figure is significantly lower even than the already unimpressive opening of Venom 3, and it stands as the lowest debut for any film in Sony’s Marvel universe, surpassing the dismal $15 million achieved by Madame Web and far behind Morbius, which earned $39 million during its launch.
Sony’s strategy often involves relying on international box office revenues to offset domestic shortcomings. However, Kraven the Hunter seems to be struggling worldwide as well, pulling in only $15 million across over 21,500 screens in 60 countries.
