Kadokawa has officially confirmed the production of a two-episode OVA titled Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! 3 -Bonus Stage-, which is set to hit Japanese theaters on March 14, 2025. The home video release will follow shortly with DVDs and Blu-rays available on April 25, 2025.

The two episodes are named “Red Stream Explosion“and “Nisemono Chui”. Moreover, the DVD/Blu-ray versions will feature additional content, including an original text story penned by the series’ creator, adding extra value for fans.

Theatrical and Streaming Releases

The OVA’s theatrical run will be limited to just two weeks in Japan. While an international release has not been officially announced, it is plausible that Crunchyroll will stream it, as they hold the licensing rights for the KonoSuba series. The production studio has seen a transition from DEEN, which handled seasons one and two (2016-2017), to Drive, who animated the current season (2024) and the spin-off, An Explosion on This Wonderful World!
