Many fans were pleasantly surprised when Kirby and the Forgotten Land was first announced in September 2021. Unlike the vast majority of Pink Hero’s outings, this last installment promises to be a whole new adventure. The best part is that it comes out sooner than you think.
In a surprise announcement on Twitter, Nintendo announced, “Kirby is back for an unforgettable adventure! Use the tough hare’s powerful copying abilities to defeat formidable foes and rescue Waddle Dee when #Kirby and the Forgotten Land takes off on #NintendoSwitch on March 25, 2022. ”
Along with this, the publisher has released a brand new trailer showing just a few of the many locations and biomes Kirby has to explore, including the snowy land; desert world; abandoned cities; and much more.
We’ll have to wait and see what the final game looks like, but the most recent trailer brings up the resemblance to Super Mario Odyssey when paired with Super Mario 3D World – which is ultimately a good thing.
Of course, we’ll have to wait and see what the real game looks like when it comes out. The trailer footage makes the game compelling, but luckily for Nintendo fans, they won’t have to wait long for confirmation as Kirby and the Forgotten Land launches on Switch on March 25, 2022.
