Discovering the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Map Left by the Deceased
If you’re embarking on an adventure in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the quest for the Map Left by the Deceased can lead to one of the game’s convenient treasure troves. However, acquiring this map poses a considerable challenge due to its locked chest, which comes with a high stat requirement. For players primarily interested in the treasure, there’s a potential workaround: a bit of exploration allows access to the loot without needing the map itself.
Overview of the Treasure Location
In our guide, we will detail how to obtain the map and locate the valuable treasure that accompanies it.
- Find the map in the Trosky graveyard chapel.
- The treasure is situated in a rocky alcove north of the Wagoner’s Inn.
Location of the Map Left by the Deceased

Finding this particular map may prove more challenging than anticipated. Unlike other maps that may be hidden or guarded, the Map Left by the Deceased is behind a locked chest located within the Trosky graveyard chapel. As you approach this chapel, note that it does not register as trespassing, allowing you to explore freely. Upon entry, you will encounter a locked chest to the right of the entrance, which poses a hard-level lockpicking difficulty.

If you prefer not to tackle the map’s challenges, you can still uncover the treasure independently. The chest may remain locked, but the treasure itself is accessible.
Finding the Treasure from the Map Left by the Deceased

Remarkably, this treasure map offers an actual clue on where to find the treasure. Head northwest from the Zhelejob Wagoner’s Inn to a location marked as “Hidden Treasure.”To reach it, cross the small bridge north of the inn—avoid the covered bridge and instead take the one leading to the Camp by the Road. Turn right after crossing and follow the stream until you notice a path sloping up into the rocky terrain.

Continue along this path until you reach the top of the hill, where you will find the treasure alcove. It’s a straightforward route from the stream, making it quite hard to miss.

The treasure consists of various items, not only a simple sack of food but also a larger sack that contains:
- A golden cross adorned with garnets
- Three Saviour Schnapps
- 157 groschen
- Three silver cups
This bounty is quite rewarding, especially early in the game, as it poses minimal risk to players seeking fortune.
