Securing Entry to the Wedding

To attend the wedding, Henry must first converse with either Blacksmith Radovan or Miller Kreyzl. Collaborating with just one is sufficient, but players may find it advantageous to assist both for additional rewards.

Choosing the Blacksmith’s Path

The Blacksmith’s Offspring

Situated southwest of Trosky Castle in Tachov, Radovan offers Henry a chance to work at his smithy. After completing this introductory tutorial, Radovan provides additional tasks that gradually lead Henry closer to the wedding invitation.

Embarking on A Journey

Radovan informs Henry that his cart and helpers are missing. Accompanied by Captain Gnarly and Jan Semine, players embark on a quest to locate them. Along this journey, players learn more about the characters, encounter bandits, and even gain weapons such as Gnarly’s cudgel and shield by winning a duel.

Upon completion, Semine rewards Henry with 80 groschen for his efforts.

Searching for the Hermit

Radovan mentions that a vital blade for the wedding is with a local hermit. Henry sets out to secure it, uncovering truths about ghostly figures, hidden killers, and bounty hunters along the way.

Choosing to side with the hermit can lead to a challenging battle, but the potential rewards of looted armor and weapons make this decision worthwhile!

Players can find the hermit’s diary by either pickpocketing him at night or locating it on the upper floor of his residence if he meets an untimely end.

Pursuing the Miller’s Path

Initial Tasks: Materia Prima

If working alongside nobility doesn’t appeal, players can turn to the unconventional Miller Kreyzl. Eccentric in nature, he serves as a gateway to some darker undercurrents. My own playthrough favored this intriguing route.

His first assignment involves teaching Henry the art of lock-picking, followed by a challenge to break into a jail. In exchange, Henry earns 25 groschen and discovers a book enhancing his stealth skills.

Harvesting Forbidden Fruit

Kreyzl devises a plan to create a Golem, requiring Saltpeter. The gravekeeper at Troskowitz proves helpful, but only after Henry assists him for a day. This peculiar quest includes riding around collecting animal corpses, some of which may still be alive.

Completion yields a boost in reputation, 85 groschen, and another stealth-boosting book.

The Ultimate Heist: Opus Magnum

For Kreyzl’s alarming ambitions, players must steal a book from Trosky Castle, necessitating entry to Semine’s wedding. Henry needs to find a dress, perfume, and potentially a partner to play the part.

This task seamlessly transitions players into the Wedding Crashers questline. It’s advisable to complete Radovan’s questline beforehand.

Wedding Crashers: A Four-Phase Adventure

The wedding ceremony consists of four distinct phases, commencing with a chat with Svatya. In the second phase, Lord Semine enlists Henry’s help to address issues with unruly beggars and Moravians.

Progressing through these phases means completing objectives in sequence; ensure to fulfill optional tasks during the correct phase to avoid missing out on exclusive rewards.

Swordplay: Grooms, Svatya, and Semine!

Head over to the barn where Captain Gnarly presides over a fighting competition. Players can bet on duelists, but caution is warranted; outcomes are unpredictable, so wager wisely.

Contestants can challenge Gnarly to join the tournament, progressing through multiple opponents in the first three wedding phases. Initially, players face off against the groom who is relaxing at a table in the outer courtyard.

The combat is intense and requires mastery of the game’s mechanics.Utilizing Master Strike can significantly tip the scales in your favor.

As the second phase unfolds, Gnarly directs you to Svatya Thrush, who can be found near the fire pit in the inner courtyard. Players must remain vigilant, as a single strike can incapacitate Henry.

In the third phase, the final opponent is none other than Lord Semine himself.Conquering him rewards Henry with his necklace, which grants a significant charisma boost.

Assisting Vostatek: A Noble Cause

This quest is exclusive to players who saved Vostatek during the Lackey side quest. Initially, he can be spotted in the courtyard arguing with his wife. If intervened, he seeks Henry’s assistance to remain sober throughout the celebratory events, initiating this multi-phase quest.

As the wedding progresses, Vostatek appears near the dice tables in the barn during the second phase. Players should remove his drink to aid him in maintaining sobriety. However, in the third phase, he acquires yet another drink.

In the fourth phase, Vostatek finds a hiding spot near the pond, clutching another drink. Players must seize this opportunity to intervene once more. After the ceremony concludes, he will share a moment with his wife in the courtyard.

Grateful for the assistance, he extends an invitation to visit his home in Tosky. Although the trip might not happen immediately, it promises an intriguing encounter for players down the line.

Dancing with Doubravka: A Romantic Interlude

During the first phase, a woman nearby invites Henry to dance with her daughter, known for her lack of grace.By passing a speech check or offering her a drink, players can persuade Doubravka to join in the dancing.

While Henry internally laments her dancing skills, offering her encouragement will help endear you to her.

In the second phase, if previous interactions were tinged with falsehood, Doubravka will invite Henry upstairs for a deeper romantic experience, which grants a Time Well Spent buff (+1 Strength, Agility, and Vitality).

Additionally, interacting with her mother will provide a minor boost to Henry’s reputation.

Dice Tournament: Engage in Minigames

During the wedding’s first phase, players can find Bailiff Thrush in the barn discussing a Farkle tournament. The initial competitors are Radovan the Blacksmith and Ulrich the Chamberlain, both of whom present different challenges and reward opportunities.

Winning against them earns the coveted Tin Badges of Might and Headstart. What initially felt like bad luck turned around after I reloaded a save and received some timely assistance.

The dice tournament continues during the second phase of the wedding. Emmerich the Apothecary mentions his lost badge, which leads players back to Thrush, still present in the barn. Players are prompted to face off against him for the main prize; however, if successful, he reveals that he lost his badge to Betty the Innkeeper.Defeating her is necessary to claim the Gold Wedding Badge.
