Find the Seal in the Tomb in KCD2: Beyond the Grave
Your initial task is to make your way to Sedletz Monastery, located directly northeast of Kuttenberg. This venue is also tied to another quest involving Sir Valentine’s sword, so you may notice some familiar elements as you progress.
Upon arrival at the monastery, approach the blind monk who can be found near one of the graves outside. Engaging in conversation with him will unlock a separate task, but the vital takeaway is that he’s your key to accessing the church. Once you’ve assisted him, proceed to the main church building’s lower level. There, locate a wooden trapdoor situated in the center of the room. Interact with it to descend into the catacombs.
After dropping down, face south and walk through the connecting tunnel. You’ll encounter a brick wall adorned with a cross above it. Destroy the wall and proceed through the opening to discover a sarcophagus. Regrettably, you won’t find the sought-after ring in this sarcophagus.
Finding the Gravedigger in Beyond the Grave
It appears that the grave of the mine owner you seek has already been looted. The only individual who might possess detailed information about this theft is the gravekeeper, whom you can find residing just north of the monastery. Initiate a dialogue with him, and he will feign ignorance regarding the grave robbery. However, if you choose to rob him, you’ll discover the mine owner’s ring stashed in his possessions.
You have two options to acquire the ring: either knock out the gravedigger when he turns away or wait until nightfall to stealthily search his pockets while he sleeps. No matter the method you choose, retrieving the ring is guaranteed. Return it to Rat, who will reward you with 225 Groschen for your efforts.
