This guide provides essential insights into his whereabouts and effective strategies to triumph over him.

Initiating the Casper Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Casper Quest Start
Casper Location

To kick off the quest for Casper, players must first complete the preceding tasks in the Bandit Hunt series, which include defeating Canker, Handsome Charlie, and Johnny the Gob. After achieving these milestones, the next step is to wait for two in-game days before returning to Gules to receive the mission to track down Casper.

Players will find Casper situated in Apollonia, a treacherous area notorious for its dense forests and bandit presence. The terrain is rife with ravines and hills, making it an ideal hideout for a cunning outlaw like Casper.

Heeding Gules’ warning, players should approach with caution. Casper is not alone; he is flanked by the fiercest members of his gang, positioned within the largest bandit camp in the region. Reports suggest that Henry will face at least twelve bandits in this challenging encounter.

To claim victory, players must retrieve Casper’s Ring from his lifeless body and return it to Semine Keep for their reward.

Strategies to Defeat Casper in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Casper Encounter

In the quest to defeat Casper, players must acknowledge that he is continually surrounded by additional bandits, complicating a straightforward confrontation. The camp is protected by two night guards with Master Hunter Bows stationed on the hills, alongside seven more guards who patrol the camp around the clock, making stealthy infiltration a daunting task.

Fortunately, players can exploit a tactical advantage by traveling to Trosky Castle. From the fast travel point, head directly east until the forest boundary of Apollonia is reached. Once inside the tree line, switch to stealth mode.

Continue lurking stealthily until spotting the first guard overseeing the camp’s western side, and dispatch him quietly using a dagger for an efficient takedown. It is imperative to move the body behind a large tree to evade detection by others nearby.

Next, pivot slightly left; another guard can be found near a solitary cooking pot. Dealing with him will leave ten remaining bandits, including Casper himself.

Recognizable by his full Brigadine Long Coat and Bell-Shaped Kettle Hat, Casper wields a Longsword and frequently patrols between the guard post and the main campsite containing the loot chest. Timing is vital; players should aim for a surprise attack as he ascends toward the main camp area.

Alternatively, players can employ Mutt to create a distraction by barking, providing a window to poison the cooking pot or the wine—though this approach carries inherent risks.

Vigilance is crucial as players navigate the camp; while some bandits are typically resting or cooking, others patrol the area, creating potential for disaster if they are caught off guard. A tactical blunder could lead to a chaotic situation where Henry finds himself overwhelmed.

Once Casper and his allies (if confronted) are defeated, players should loot his ring, along with the keys to nearby chests for additional resources, assuming they are brave enough to battle remaining bandits.

With Casper’s ring in hand, players can return to Gules to bask in their victory, receiving a reward of 95 Groschen and the opportunity to engage Gules as a skill trainer in areas such as Thievery, Survival, and Swordsmanship.
