One notable side quest in KCD2 is titled “A Good Scrub.”This quest requires protagonist Henry to assist a local bathhouse owner as she endeavors to establish her business. It involves traversing different areas of Kuttenberg, making this walkthrough essential for players seeking guidance.
Initiating “A Good Scrub”Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The journey for “A Good Scrub”begins at the Kingfisher Bathhouse, situated in the Hoprink region of Kuttenberg. Players can find a tipster within the bathhouse who can direct Henry to available work opportunities. Hoprink is located in the southeastern portion of the city.
Visit the Hoprink Bathhouse

The bathhouse, though slightly worn, is bustling with activity. To find Betty, the owner, navigate the walkway and ascend the stairs next to a worker. Betty can be found in one of the rooms upstairs, sweeping and managing her business.

Engage Betty in conversation and inquire about job opportunities. She reveals her aspiration to reopen the bathhouse, but she faces difficulties with her wagoner, Matsek. Henry is then tasked to journey to Grund, locate Matsek, and retrieve a package on her behalf. Accepting this task marks the commencement of “A Good Scrub.”
Collect Betty’s Package

Henry will discover Matsek waiting outside the tavern in Grund. Initiate dialogue to uncover the situation regarding the package. Due to his nervous demeanor, mention Betty’s name to ease him. It turns out Betty’s “package”consists of a wagon transporting young women who are about to join the bathhouse staff, and Matsek is hesitant about the delivery.

To persuade Matsek to continue with the transport, players must successfully navigate a dialogue check using the following options:
- EASY: “There aren’t any soldiers here.”(Persuasion)
- EASY: “We’re not doing anything illegal!”(Impression)
Upon successful persuasion, Matsek agrees to prepare the wagon. Henry then locates the young women, who are gathered at a table outdoors, specifically speaking to Barber Klara, the one dressed in green.

Once the women board the cart, Henry can join them for the ride back to Kuttenberg, during which entertaining and risqué conversations unfold before they fast travel to their destination.
Return to Betty’s Bathhouse

Once back at the Kingfisher Bathhouse, inform Betty about the successful delivery of the women. However, their conversation is interrupted by Adam, another bathhouse proprietor who attempts to persuade Betty to sell her establishment. After his departure, Betty requests Henry’s assistance in promoting the grand opening celebration of the Kingfisher.
Together, they craft a catchy phrase for Henry to use while drawing attention to the event and identify four strategic locations for him to visit.
Promote the Grand Opening Event

Henry’s mission is to visit four key locations and announce the Kingfisher’s opening. He should proceed to the Grain Market, Horse Market, and Merchant’s Markets to shout out the news. Additionally, a fourth location is indicated near the fountain and church on the map, but caution is advised when discussing the bathhouse there.
When announcing the opening at the church area, a local may confront him for shouting improper content in a sacred space. Players will either need to pass a dialogue skill check or engage him in a fistfight.

Smooth over tensions with one of the following dialogue choices:
- HARD: “There’s nothing wrong with bathhouses.”(Persuasion)
- EASY: “Get lost before I lose my temper.”(Intimidation)
After completing announcements in all four locations, return to the Kingfisher and report back to Betty. Following a short wait, players can indulge in a lively grand opening night filled with drinking, dancing, and relaxation. However, the next day, Henry faces a rude awakening from one of the workers.
Tidying Up the Bathhouse

The aftermath of the raucous party leaves the bathhouse in disarray, prompting the local Alderman to conduct an inspection to ensure the establishment meets standards. It becomes Henry’s responsibility to clean up and remove the inebriated patrons sprawled across the facility.
Conceal the Drunken Patrons

Start by carrying the four unconscious men to the second floor and place them in a bedroom, specifically the first room on the right.
Collect the Tankards

Next, locate the tankards scattered throughout the bathhouse. There are a total of six, split between three in the main room and three in the bathing area, some upright and others overturned.
Retrieve the Clothing

Gather any clothes and towels in disarray. Notable items include a hat, two shirts, and a pair of hoses near the bathing area, along with a towel located in the main room.
Eliminate the Vomit

Finally, Henry must address the vomit left behind. This can be found next to the second tub on the left side of the room. Approaching it, select the clean option to scrub it away.
Once everything is in order, the Alderman will arrive for his inspection. Players must refrain from speaking to him during this time to avoid encountering a quest failure. If the cleanup is successful, the Alderman will be satisfied, allowing Betty to officially open her bathhouse. As a reward for his efforts, Henry will receive:
- Increased Reputation
- A permanent discount at the Kingfisher Bathhouse.
