After witnessing a cutscene, you’ll find yourself trapped in the mine, with all your equipment mysteriously taken by a figure dressed in bloody armor. Proceed through the tunnel until you reach an intersection. Upon reaching the next intersection, you’ll hear chanting in Latin. It’s advisable to pick up the torch located on a barrel and another weak Saviour’s Schnapps from a hidden basket in the left tunnel before proceeding. Keep moving forward and you’ll discover a Hunting Sword on your left and a locked chest on an altar to your right. Venture deeper into the mine to find a ladder that leads upward, where the knight, named Taras and claiming to be the Shield of God, will introduce himself.
