To start your adventure with All’s Fair, head to Wysoka, situated in the southwest corner of the Kuttenberg region.
Seek out Pavel, who roams the village, and engage him in conversation to activate the quest. Pavel reveals his affection for Ursula, despite her betrothal to Pivetz.
To win her heart, Pavel plots to frame Pivetz by stealing valuable items. To glean useful insight for your mission, thoroughly explore all dialogue options with him.
As an added benefit, you can engage with Ursula and exhaust her dialogue options to gain additional hints about Pavel’s intentions.
The Older Vejmola’s Lost Medal
Your first target is quite simple to procure: the Older Vejmola’s Medal was long lost and is now in the possession of a local magpie. The nest is located near Bohuska’s house.
Head to Bohuska’s garden and locate the eastern section tree. Use an arrow, shrapnel, or a rock to dislodge the nest, and you’ll find the medal inside.
Bohuska’s Ring
Since Bohuska’s residence is nearby, your next target is her ring, making it a convenient stop. The ideal time for a break-in is late at night when she’ll be fast asleep; during this time, she may speak in her sleep and inadvertently reveal the ring’s hiding spot.
The ring has been mistakenly baked into a poppy seed kolach, which you can find on the table by the entrance. Simply eat the pastries, and the Silver Cake Ring will be automatically added to your inventory.
If needed, you can also choose to non-lethally subdue sleeping individuals to ensure your thieving isn’t interrupted.
Vejmola the Cobbler’s Shoes
Your next endeavor involves Vejmola the Cobbler, and this theft is made easier with a key provided by Pavel. Enter his home at night and use the door on the right to access the bedroom, where you will find the Cobbler’s Boots lying near the chest.
Make sure to dress in dark clothing, use potions like Quickfinger, bring along lockpicks, and employ Saviour Schnapps to enhance your stealth capabilities.
Ursula’s Mother’s Rosary
Ursula’s mother resides in the center of Wysoka, and her Gemstone Rosary is securely kept in a locked chest. You have two options to acquire it.
If you excel at lockpicking, you can navigate through some simpler locks before confronting the Very Hard lock protecting the chest.
Alternatively, you might consider pickpocketing Ursula’s mother for the key that unlocks the chest. This can be most effectively executed at night when she is asleep, facilitating a smoother operation.
Father Anthony’s Book
The last target in your heist is Father Anthony, who lives adjacent to the chapel in northern Wysoka.
This task is straightforward—locate the Wysoka Priest’s Alchemy Book, which can be discovered on a corner table within his home.
Concluding All’s Fair
After securing the stolen goods, return to Pavel, who displays newfound confidence compared to your initial encounter. He appears much more determined to frame Pivetz with the stolen items than he has previously indicated.
If you succeed in a difficult speech check or have thoroughly conversed with Ursula, Pavel will divulge his true ambitions.
Instead of genuinely vying for Ursula’s affection, his primary goal was to sell the pilfered items to fund his quest for a journeyman apprenticeship in Kuttenberg. Your reaction will affect the outcome of the quest.
Transferring the Goods to Pavel
If you opt to hand over all the stolen items, Pavel will reward you with Vitality experience. While he achieves his ulterior motive, his newfound reputation as a thief will resonate throughout Wysoka.
This decision also opens up a follow-up quest titled Seeking Justice, which can be activated by visiting Captain Frenzl in Suchdol in a few days.
Funding Pavel’s Ambition
Alternatively, you can choose to cover the cost of Pavel’s apprenticeship by granting him 1000 groschen. This enables him to pursue his dreams without the stain of a criminal record.
This honorable approach will also grant Henry Vitality experience. Since Pavel’s reputation remains unblemished, Captain Frenzl will have no reason to suspect him of thievery thereafter.
You do have the option of keeping the stolen treasures (which amount to over 670 groschen) for yourself or choosing to return them. While being altruistic enhances Henry’s local reputation and earns pastries from Bohuska, it yields no further material gain.
Additionally, reading Father Anthony’s book before returning it provides an opportunity to enhance your alchemy skill.
Refusing Pavel’s Plan
