Kim Soo-hyun’s Lawyers Refute Claims of Actor Having ‘Thousands of Photos’ with Deceased Kim Sae-ron

Kim Soo-hyun’s Legal Team Denies Allegations Involving Kim Sae-ron

Recently, actor Kim Soo-hyun’s legal representatives publicly dismissed claims alleging that he possesses extensive photographs of the late actress Kim Sae-ron. The statements were prompted by accusations made by Sae-ron’s family.

Official Statement from Attorney

On Wednesday, Atty. Ko Sang-rok, Soo-hyun’s lawyer, issued a detailed statement addressing these allegations. Emphasizing their lack of validity, Ko stated, “There are not thousands of photos. Such a volume simply does not exist, ”as reported by Korea JoongAng Daily.

He further highlighted the unusual timing of the claims, suggesting that the emergence of such material after eight months of no police or court documentation raises serious doubts about their authenticity. This led Ko to characterize the situation as a potential “nationwide fraud, ”aimed at targeting an innocent person.

Refutation of Specific Claims

The legal team also challenged additional assertions involving KakaoTalk messages purportedly exchanged between Soo-hyun and Sae-ron in 2016 and 2018. These messages included a controversial line stating, “When can I fall asleep in your arms?”

According to Ko, the belief that Soo-hyun authored this 2016 message is solely based on claims made by Sae-ron’s sibling, lacking any supporting evidence. He firmly stated that there has been no reliable proof provided to establish that the actor wrote this message.

Another disputed communication from 2018, which allegedly includes the phrase, “If you will not try, brother, ”was also dismissed by the legal representative. Ko underlined that Sae-ron’s family has not placed any blame on Soo-hyun regarding her tragic passing, as referenced by Allkpop.

Clarification on Letters during Military Service

Addressing claims surrounding letters exchanged while Soo-hyun was serving his mandatory military duty, Ko clarified that no personal correspondence exists beyond those previously acknowledged by the actor’s management. Furthermore, he noted that a so-called “internet letter”mentioned in recent allegations was not a private message but a public communication widely shared with fans during military service.

Legal Actions and Reputation Protection

Soo-hyun’s representatives reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing legal actions against the distribution of false information and defamatory claims. The legal team argues that the circulation of unverified messages, distorted correspondences, and speculative narratives has severely impacted the actor’s reputation.
