Kevin Hart Dismisses Reporter’s Question on Diddy Parties: “You’re Asking the Wrong Person the Wrong Question”

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has recently distanced himself from inquiries regarding Sean “Diddy” Combs and their previous association. Last week, the star of Let Me Explain was en route to dinner with his wife, Eniko Hart, when reporters from Daily Mail questioned him about whether he remembered spotting baby oil bottles during his time “hosting parties”for Diddy.

In response, Kevin Hart, who was heading to LAVO Restaurant in West Hollywood, asserted:

“When I hosted for Diddy? You’re asking the wrong person the wrong question.”

The 45-year-old comedian not only dismissed his engagement in Combs’ notorious parties but also evaded questions regarding the safety of the Bad Boy Records founder while incarcerated.

“Wrong person, wrong question,” he reiterated, before proceeding with his wife and bodyguard.

Kevin Hart’s reluctance to comment on Diddy-related matters comes amid the hip-hop mogul’s ongoing legal challenges, including his arrest and federal indictment last month.

Viral Video Featuring Kevin Hart at Diddy’s Alleged Parties

Sean Combs was taken into federal custody on September 16 from New York City’s Park Hyatt Hotel following a grand jury indictment. He is currently facing three felony charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sexual trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

In the wake of his arrest and federal indictment, several videos have circulated online, reportedly from Diddy’s notorious parties. One such video allegedly showed Kevin Hart beside a bathtub, holding a microphone and addressing the camera while two women surrounded him. One woman was scantily clad next to Hart, and the other was in the bathtub wearing a bikini, only for her hair to catch fire from one of the candles nearby.

Kevin Hart reportedly urged the person filming to “cut” the video before the clip transitioned to show him jokingly addressing safety concerns regarding the woman whose hair caught fire. Subsequently, the Philadelphia native was seen in a tirade using racially charged language while next to Diddy, who was holding a drink.

Another video also surfaced, reportedly showing the Primetime Emmy winner next to a bed, with Diddy cautioning him to maintain his distance while sipping champagne.

“If we can, let’s just move the camera a little this way. I don’t want my shot to even come close to the bed at all,” Hart was reported saying.

The crew appeared to comply with Kevin’s instructions, and at one moment, the camera unveiled an alleged silver sex toy on the bed while Hart was interviewing Diddy and R&B singer Usher. Whether this footage belonged to one of Diddy’s infamous “freak off” parties remains unverified.

For context, “freak offs”were described in unsealed grand jury indictments as “elaborate sexual performances,” during which young, often underage girls were reportedly coerced through threats and force to engage in extended sexual acts. Prosecutors now accuse the disgraced rapper of orchestrating such parties while watching or recording them, often without the victims’ knowledge.

Additionally, during raids at Sean Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles residences in May 2024, as part of a Homeland Security Investigation, authorities seized what has been termed “freak off supplies,”which included over 1,000 bottles of baby oil, lubricants, controlled substances, along with firearms and ammunition, including three AR-15s.

Currently, the maker of The Love Album is being held without bond at the Metropolitan Detention Center under procedural suicide watch as he awaits trial. At his arraignment on September 17 at Manhattan Federal Court, he entered a plea of “not guilty” and was subsequently denied bail after prosecutors labeled him a “serious flight risk.” If convicted, Diddy faces a potential sentence of 15 years to life in federal prison. His next court appearance is scheduled for October 9.

As for Kevin Hart, he has recently announced the abrupt closure of his vegan fast-food chain, Hart House, located in Los Angeles, citing a “Hartfelt goodbye”and the beginning of a “new chapter”in an Instagram post, although he did not provide specific reasons for the shutdown. Online speculation suggests that the closure may be connected to Diddy’s arrest.
