“Ken Page has moved on to the next show. My heart is shattered,” Dorian expressed.

Ken Page was born in January 1954 in St. Louis and embarked on his Broadway journey in 1975 when he starred in The Wiz.

He later appeared in various productions, including Guys and Dolls, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Cats, and It Ain’t Nothing But The Blues. He also participated in numerous off-Broadway performances as well as regional theater shows.

Ken Page, the acclaimed Broadway actor, passed away at 70 on September 30, 2024. He gained significant recognition for his role in Ain’t Misbehavin’ and was particularly renowned for voicing Oogie Boogie in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

His film career began in 1988 with Torch Song Trilogy, followed by roles in movies such as All Dogs Go To Heaven, I’ll Do Anything, Cats, Shortcut to Happiness, and Dreamgirls.
