The recent news surrounding the tragic passing of Liam Payne has taken center stage, especially after Katie Waissel’s heartfelt tribute that also included a scathing remark directed at Simon Cowell. In her post on X, Katie expressed her grief with the following words:

“My heart is absolutely shattered right now; I find myself at a complete loss for words. If Simon Cowell dares to release a statement regarding the devastating loss of my beloved friend Liam, he will only make himself look foolish. We all know the truth… and I’ll make sure it comes to light.”

Although Katie’s post did not clarify why she specifically referenced Simon Cowell, it’s notable that Liam first auditioned for The X Factor at the tender age of 16 back in 2008.

However, upon his return in 2010, Liam’s performance impressed the judges immensely. Simon Cowell announced to him along with fellow contestants Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson that they had officially formed the band One Direction.

Katie Waissel is a well-known musical artist who gained fame as a contestant on The X Factor’s seventh season. Since then, she has released several albums and made appearances on UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother. Born in 1986, Katie also founded her band, Red Velvet Lovers, in 2011.

Tragically, Liam Payne’s life came to an end after a reported fall from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. According to CNN, the 31-year-old star passed away on October 16, 2024.

Additionally, she released a single named “Heroes,”further showcasing her musical abilities.

Beyond her music career, Katie pursued higher education, successfully completing a postgraduate law course on a scholarship. She is also recognized for founding the OWHL Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting human rights.

Buenos Aires authorities reported receiving a 911 call about Liam Payne being aggressive

According to CNN, law enforcement in Buenos Aires received a call regarding a disturbance at a hotel on the afternoon of October 16, 2024, with allegations that an individual appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

It’s notable that Liam was seen in Argentina just prior to this incident, attending a concert by his former bandmate Niall Horan on October 2.

Police reported that upon their arrival, the hotel manager explained that staff had heard a loud noise emanating from the room, leading them to find Liam on the floor. Telephone audio recordings revealed a hotel employee requesting urgent assistance, stating:

“When he is conscious, he is destroying the entire room, and we need you to send someone.”

With Katie Waissel alluding to Simon Cowell in the context of Liam Payne’s ascent to stardom—having discovered him on The X Factor—many social media users are now calling for Cowell to address the situation. To date, the television personality has not made any official comments regarding the incident.
