Born on November 25, 1933, in West Columbia, Texas, Kathryn pursued higher education at the University of Texas in Austin before winning a beauty pageant that led to a movie test with William Holden in Hollywood.

She starred in numerous films under her stage name, Kathryn Grant. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Kathryn, who appeared in several uncredited films during the 1950s, had an estimated net worth of $20 million.

Originally from Texas, Kathryn Crosby made her mark as both an actress and a beauty queen. She began her film career in 1953 by writing a Hollywood-focused column for her local newspaper. Her memorable performances included Princess Parisa in the 1958 adventure film The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and a role in the 1959 courtroom drama Anatomy of a Murder.

In her early career, she interviewed Bing while on the set of the 1954 film White Christmas for her column. The couple married in 1957, and Kathryn later became a teacher and registered nurse in 1963.

Crosby also took on the role of Mama Bear in the production of Goldilocks, alongside her husband and children, continuing to perform under her stage name, Kathryn Grant. She appeared with stars like Tony Curtis in Mister Cory (1957), Jack Lemmon in Operation Mad Ball, and in The Big Circus (1959) as a trapeze artist. By the 1960s, Kathryn had largely stepped back from acting.
