During a production conference held on the morning of October 29, Kang Na-eon publicly acknowledged her appreciation for Kim Woo-seok, highlighting how he made her feel at ease during the filming of Social Savvy Class 101.
“I had numerous scenes where I interacted closely with Kim Woo-seok, which created great chemistry between us. I really appreciated how he always ensured I felt relaxed, especially during the emotionally intense scenes,”she shared.
This event for the high school romance mystery series, produced by Cinema Paradiso, took place at the Ilchi Art Hall located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. The occasion featured director Bae Ha-neul, screenwriter Ko Yi-chan, and a talented cast including Kim Woo-seok, Kang Na-eon, Choi Gun, Son Dong-pyo, and Han Chae-rin.
Exploring the bond between Kim Woo-seok and Kang Na-eon
Social Savvy Class 101 tells the story of Kim Ji-eun, an ‘outsider’ played by Kang Na-eon, who unveils her classmates’ hidden truths, alongside Kang Woo-bin, another outsider from her narrative, performed by Kim Woo-seok.
While embodying their roles, the actors reportedly developed a close bond, and following the completion of the project, they began dating. Their agencies later confirmed the relationship amidst swirling rumors.
In a Q&A session, Kim Woo-seok complimented Kang Na-eon’s acting talent, mentioning how much he learned from her and the positive energy she brought to set. He also expressed regret over the recent focus on his personal life but reaffirmed his dedication to promoting the drama and advancing his acting career.
“I found Kang Na-eon to be outstanding. I realized I was the one who learned from her more. The energy I received from my co-stars was fantastic, but Kang Na-eon provided an extra boost,”he remarked.
Kang Na-eon reciprocated by voicing her gratitude for Kim Woo-seok’s support, especially in emotionally charged scenes.
As this was their first appearance as a couple, Kim Woo-seok and Kang Na-eon opted for a three-shot with colleague Choi Gun, instead of the traditional two-shot. Despite media requests for smiles, they maintained reserved expressions during the photoshoot.

In Social Savvy Class 101, he plays the role of Kang Woo-bin, a high school K-pop idol trainee who, despite his seemingly perfect persona, conceals a significant secret.
Kang Na-eon started her journey in acting with Blind and rose to fame through her roles in Crash Course in Romance and Pyramid Game. In the new drama, she takes on the character of Kim Ji-eun, a student who blends in but aspires for the popularity that Kang Woo-bin enjoys. Her path changes dramatically when she is tasked with managing Insider Time, an anonymous app where peers disclose their secrets.
On October 25, News1 revealed that Kim Woo-seok and Kang Na-eon are in a romantic relationship. Born in 1996, Kim Woo-seok is five years Na-eon’s senior, as she was born in 2001. His agency, BLITZWAY STUDIOS, confirmed their relationship, stating that the couple began dating after collaborating on the drama, and they requested everyone to extend their warm support.
The eight-episode series, Social Savvy Class 101, is set to premiere on November 10 on platforms such as TVING, Wave, and Watcha.
