Among the standout performers was 17-year-old Kamila Kiehne, who delivered a powerful rendition of “Black Velvet”by Alannah Myles, earning admiration and three Chair Turns from the judges.

Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé were quick to turn their chairs for her, while Gwen Stefani also offered high praise for Kamila’s performance. Ultimately, she decided to join Team Michael Bublé and even presented the coaches with gifts, including rings and “bolo ties,”before she exited the stage.

“It really reminded me of when I saw Kelly Clarkson the very first time”— Michael Bublé commends Kamila’s Blind Audition on The Voice

During her September 30, 2024, appearance on The Voice, Kamila Kiehne expressed her disbelief at performing for such incredible coaches.

“I have been dreaming about this for so long. Hearing the button press would make me shiver in my boots,”she remarked.

Kamila shared her musical journey, revealing she began singing at the age of 9. She performed “Dang Devil”at her church, which she regards as her “favorite place on Earth.”Over the years, she has also sung the National Anthem at various sporting events.

Her captivating version of “Black Velvet”impressed all four judges of The Voice season 26, leading to three buzzers being pressed. Following her performance, Michael Bublé expressed his admiration, stating, “She killed it.”He mentioned he could offer her guidance on selecting songs that would elevate her talent to the “next echelon.”

Bublé noted his love for entertaining and recognized the “light”emanating from Kamila, emphasizing his desire to help her reach her full potential.

Gwen Stefani also recognized Kamila’s talent, describing her performance as “beautiful.”Although she did not turn her chair, Stefani acknowledged that Kamila’s young age might have contributed to her less-than-perfect control during the song, while praising her unique tone.

Reba McEntire commented on Kamila’s heartfelt singing and invited her to join her team. Snoop Dogg, who was the first coach to turn for her, noted how deeply her voice resonated with him from the very first note, highlighting their shared church background and expressing his belief that he could provide the necessary direction to guide her career to success.

In the end, Kamila selected Michael Bublé as her mentor. He enthusiastically explained that he pressed his button quickly after hearing just two notes from her performance.

“I didn’t want to say it because I didn’t want to put pressure on her, but it really reminded me of when I saw Kelly Clarkson the very first time. Wow, what a voice,”Bublé remarked.
