Kalenna Harper: Cassie’s ‘Queenly’ Vibes Questioned in Diddy’s Empire Amidst “Naive, Liked Getting High” Remarks

In the recent episode of the Trappin Anonymous podcast, singer-songwriter Kalenna Harper shared insights about her former collaborator Sean “Diddy”Combs, as he faces a series of legal challenges. The conversation, which appeared on the Breakbeat Media YouTube channel on October 30, particularly highlighted Diddy’s former partner and accuser, Cassie Ventura.

“I adore her, but she was a bit naïve, enjoyed partying, and had a taste for getting high. That was her vibe. As a model, she was well looked after,” Kalenna reflected on her past experiences with Cassie.

Harper went on to describe Cassie as “spoiled,”mentioning that her lifestyle was largely centered around enjoying life in luxurious, glass-ceilinged condos in New York. At 42 years old, she characterized Cassie as acting like a “rich girl,”more interested in having fun with friends than managing Diddy’s extensive financial empire.

Kalenna Harper’s Insights on Cassie Amid Diddy’s Legal Controversies

Kalenna Harper was a key member of the hip-hop group Diddy-Dirty Money, alongside Sean Combs and Dawn Richard, which was active from 2009 until 2012.

During the podcast, Harper also addressed her relationships with her former bandmates and with Cassie Ventura, who had a tumultuous relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder from 2007 to 2018.

“I watched Cassie transition from a little girl willing to give out ‘lap dances’ to anyone, to someone who just wanted to party and have fun as a model,” the Philadelphia artist asserted.

Harper claimed that Cassie received a substantial weekly allowance from Combs, ranging from $30,000 to $50,000, but lamented that she did not invest this money wisely, missing opportunities like starting her own business or producing her own music.

The former Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star also suggested that Cassie and her family benefitted from luxurious cars and travel expenses courtesy of Combs, with Cassie reportedly squandering her allowances on partying and recreational activities rather than pursuing beneficial endeavors.

Harper criticized Cassie’s approach, saying she chose to live a carefree lifestyle rather than take on a more sophisticated and responsible role in Diddy’s life and businesses.

Kalenna humorously mentioned her habit of “still using baby oil” and avoided delving into Diddy’s afterparties, while expressing her long-standing admiration for Combs.

Regarding Dawn Richard, Kalenna referred to her as a “weird b*tch” and dismissed allegations made by Dawn against Diddy in her September 2024 lawsuit, in which Kalenna was mentioned frequently.

“I’m not on good terms with Dawn, and I stand by my truth. I didn’t witness any of the behavior she claims. What I observed was her odd behavior, questioning, ‘What’s wrong with you?’” Kalenna expressed.

Notably, Dawn Richard’s lawsuit against Diddy included numerous references to Kalenna, and following this, she took to Instagram to emphasize that while she respected Dawn’s right to express her experiences, those claims did not reflect a universal truth applicable to everyone involved.

Kalenna Harper contested parts of Richard’s lawsuit regarding alleged incidents of Diddy’s violence towards Cassie, stating that her experiences differed significantly from the allegations.

“While I might have been present at events with some of the situations mentioned, the claims do not reflect my reality, nor do they resonate with my truth,” Kalenna clarified.

This isn’t the first time Kalenna has spoken out regarding Diddy’s legal troubles. Back in May, she described him as “f*cking cool as sh*t” during a Rolling Stone investigation into allegations against him, criticizing former associates for their disloyalty as being affected by “disgruntled employee syndrome.”

Notably, CNN had previously released surveillance footage depicting Diddy’s abusive actions toward Cassie, escalating public concern surrounding the situation.

Additionally, in March, the FBI conducted raids on Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami as part of investigations into trafficking allegations stemming from various lawsuits, initially started by Cassie’s claims.

As of September 16, Sean Combs has been incarcerated on numerous charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and exploitation through prostitution, with his trial set to commence in May 2025.
