How to get shields during emotes in Fortnite?

In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, players will need to complete daily, weekly, and seasonal quests to earn XP and complete the battle pass. One of the Week 9 quests requires players to gain shields during emotes. Completing this quest rewards the player with 15,000 XP and you can complete it anywhere in the game. The quest sounds difficult, as players cannot emote when using a defensive potion, and emotes when bouncing on Slurp Bouncer mushrooms can be difficult. However, there is a healing item that can be used at the same time as emotes.

Where to find shield barrels in Fortnite?

Shield Kegs can be found as ground loot, chests, llamas, and supply drops. It is a rare throwable item introduced at the start of Chapter 3 of Fortnite that allows players to automatically gain shields. All you need to do is toss the shield keg on the ground and stay within its range. Sheild Kegs can also heal teammates, making it one of the best healing items in the game.

In order to complete this weekly challenge, players will first need to find a keg with a shield. Throw it on the ground and start emoting while in champ radius. We recommend trying this in a remote area or behind cover, as opponents can easily shoot players while they are emoting. When playing in Build Mode, players can also pack and climb high to safely use the Shield Barrel. Week 9 has a few other quests you can complete to get more Battle Stars and unlock Battle Pass cosmetic items.
