“I sincerely apologize for having to postpone this evening’s performance. An injury is preventing me from taking the stage. I am truly disappointed that I won’t get to see you all tonight—but I am working diligently to secure a new date ASAP. I promise to make it right and deliver the experience you deserve.”
Details about the injury have not been disclosed by Timberlake. The Prudential Center’s website confirmed the cancellation of the event, advising ticket holders to retain their tickets, and added:
“We are in discussions with the artist’s team regarding a new concert date and hope to share this information soon. Please follow both the artist and venue on social media for updates, and keep an eye on your email for news from your ticket purchase point.”
Justin Timberlake has resumed his Forget Tomorrow World Tour
The concert on Wednesday formed part of Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which he restarted in Montreal on October 4 after taking a month off. During this event, he also celebrated his wedding anniversary with his wife, Jessica Biel.
Timberlake recognized Biel, who was spotted in a baseball cap near the stage, addressing the audience:
“This evening is particularly special for me. My wife is here tonight, and we’re celebrating our 12-year anniversary. So please be kind to her, Montreal, since she is sharing me with all of you this evening.”
He was seen expressing his love to her, saying “I love you, baby.”This heartfelt moment was later shared by Timberlake on TikTok, where Biel responded in the comments:
“I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
Timberlake and Biel exchanged vows on October 19, 2012, in Italy and are now parents to two sons, Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4.
Biel often shows her support at her husband’s performances and, in August, shared a post enjoying the concert with the caption:
“Fan girl alert!!”
She was also seen at a show in New York City in June, and was present for the opening of his tour in April along with their children.
The Forget Tomorrow World Tour marks Justin Timberlake’s seventh headlining concert series, supporting his 2024 album, Everything I Thought It Was. The tour commenced in Vancouver in April 2024 and is scheduled to continue through the rest of the year, culminating in a performance in Paris next year.
