Jurassic World Evolution 3: New Island Generator and Improved PS5 Pro Graphics

Exciting New Features Unveiled in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Frontier Developments has announced a groundbreaking addition to Jurassic World Evolution 3: the Island Generator. This innovative feature, available in Sandbox Mode, empowers players with limitless possibilities for crafting custom island layouts. By tweaking various parameters such as shape, terrain, foliage, water bodies, and mountainous regions, gamers can unleash their creativity and construct unique theme parks.

Each uniquely generated island comes equipped with its own Island DNA code, enhancing social interaction within the gaming community. This feature allows players to share their creations, letting others replicate their designs or explore different player-generated islands. In addition, the Frontier Workshop will serve as a platform to upload these parks, fostering an evolving community experience. Enhanced transit options such as Monorails and Hyperloop systems are also introduced, allowing players to connect and build across multiple smaller islands separate from the main landmass, paving the way for intricate park designs.

Director’s Insight on Island Generator

Game Director Andy Fletcher expressed his enthusiasm regarding the Island Generator, stating:

We are so excited to bring the Island Generator to Jurassic World Evolution 3. This is a feature we have wanted to realize for a long time now, and with the incredible new environmental tools we’ve developed for JWE3, we are finally able to do it justice.

Graphical Enhancements for Immersive Gameplay

In addition to new creative features, Jurassic World Evolution 3 boasts significant graphical improvements made possible by the capabilities of PlayStation 5 Pro. Players can expect enhanced visual quality, including PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) for improved image clarity, and the introduction of Ray Traced Sun Shadows, which deliver realistic lighting and shadow effects.

This advanced ray tracing feature marks a first for the Jurassic World Evolution series. Players will notice softer and more authentic shadows cast by both foliage and dinosaurs, contributing to a more engaging and realistic gameplay environment.

Mark your calendars: Jurassic World Evolution 3 is set to launch on October 21.
