On this meaningful day, the Lottery Happiness Empathy Volunteer Group celebrated Senior Citizens’ Day by advocating for healthy lifestyles and providing nutritious meals to older adults.

The actor Jung Hae-in, serving as the Lottery PR Ambassador, warmly interacted with the seniors, distributed meals, and garnered praise for his kindness and dedication. He led the Happiness Sharing Volunteer Group, personally serving food and receiving accolades from both seniors and fellow volunteers for his sincerity and hands-on approach.

The Love Next Door star was accompanied by Kim Yoon-sang, the 2nd Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance. Approximately 70 volunteers, including members of the Lottery Commission, participated, serving meals and facilitating various cultural activities to foster a nurturing environment for the elderly.

According to Hankyung Korea, this initiative was part of the 17th Happiness Sharing Volunteer Group’s 4th Volunteer Activity. The Lottery Commission, along with the Donghaeng Lottery, organized the event to encourage active and healthy living among senior citizens.

The volunteers, including the Snowdrop actor, not only provided meals but also engaged in heartfelt conversations with the elderly, delivering both emotional and physical support.

Jung Hae-in is a celebrated South Korean actor, recognized for his roles in popular dramas such as While You Were Sleeping (2017), Prison Playbook (2017–2018), Something in the Rain (2018), One Spring Night (2019), D.P. (2021–2023), and Snowdrop (2021–2022).

In 2024, Hae-in starred in the recently released film Veteran 2, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 2015 action thriller Veteran. The film portrays rookie detective Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in) as he teams up with veteran detective Seo Do-chul (Hwang Jung-min) in the violent crimes unit, chasing down a serial killer wreaking havoc in the city.
