Julia Fox recently shared her feelings of regret regarding her short-lived romance with Kanye West. In an interview with The Times on Saturday, October 12, the star of Uncut Gems expressed her strong discontent with the brief relationship she had with the famed rapper known for his hit “Flashing Lights.”Fox and West had a whirlwind romance in early 2022, and during the conversation, she stated:
“I truly regret that relationship.”
In related news, on Tuesday, October 8, a lawsuit was filed by Lauren Pisciotta, a former assistant to West, alleging that he drugged and assaulted her during a party co-hosted by Kanye and the controversial hip-hop figure, Sean “Diddy”Combs. Pisciotta was employed by West from 2021 to 2022.

In an in-depth interview with The Times titled, “S*x, Drugs, and Moving On from Kanye West — Julia Fox’s Journey,”published on October 12, the actress candidly discussed her negative perception of her relationship with Kanye West.
The pair initially crossed paths at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Miami in 2021, shortly after Kanye’s breakup with Kim Kardashian. Their romance, which included several public events, concluded on February 14, 2022, as confirmed by a representative for Fox.
In her conversation with The Times, Fox conveyed her strong dislike for that chapter of her life, stating:
“I hate it! It was just a few weeks, yet it felt like a lifetime.”
She elaborated:
“I found myself in one of the most uncomfortable situations ever, which really says something. I don’t want to be remembered just as someone’s girlfriend.”
Furthermore, Julia revealed that it wasn’t her intention to publicize the relationship at that time. She had planned to keep it private longer, but choices were made without her consent. Fox recounted her realization of being “used as a pawn”in the public narrative.
In her memoir, Down the Drain, published in 2023, Fox discusses her encounters with an unnamed artist, later confirmed to be Kanye West. She recounts instances where he offered to fund breast augmentation surgery, requested her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and even wanted approval on her outfits.
Fox’s memoir illustrates how conflict was consistent throughout their relationship.
Lauren Pisciotta files serious allegations against Kanye West
In another development, Kanye West is under legal pressure after his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault on October 8. This claim is part of a broader case regarding wrongful termination and sexual harassment that she lodged against West back in June.
Documents from California courts, as reported by The New York Post and The Daily Beast, reveal that Pisciotta encountered West years prior to her employment at a party in a Santa Monica music studio hosted by him and Sean “Diddy”Combs.
During that party, Pisciotta claims West pressured attendees to leave unless they consumed alcohol. She later described feeling “disoriented”after just a few drinks and stated that she was in an “altered and highly impaired state,”unable to recall the events of the evening and primarily concerned about her behavior.
She reported being “too traumatized and disturbed”to speak about that night. Pisciotta continued her work for Kanye from 2021 until her termination in 2022, during which she claims he later admitted to a “hook up”with her on the night in question, a revelation that left her in “complete and utter shock.”In her previous lawsuit, Pisciotta alleged that West had sent her inappropriate messages and explicit materials featuring himself and other women.
She also accused him of once locking himself in a room with her before engaging in indecent behavior. Despite promises of a significant severance package following her dismissal in October 2022, she asserts that she has received nothing and is still owed wages.
Back in June, legal representatives for Kanye West labeled Lauren Pisciotta’s lawsuit as “baseless.”As of now, West has not responded to these recent allegations or Julia Fox’s candid reflections on their relationship.
