During ONE Friday Fights 58, Di Bella will put his title on the line against Prajanchai PK Saenchai, the reigning ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion, at the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
Jonathan Di Bella believes that defeating Prajanchai this Friday could prove to be a crucial moment in his career.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post, he stated:
“It would mean a lot to me. It would show that I’m for real and I’m next level. Hopefully one day, [this win] will solidify me as one of the best kickboxers on the planet.”
Di Bella is undoubtedly one of the top kickboxers of the present era, but defeating Prajanchai would undoubtedly elevate him to a highly esteemed level.
With a remarkable record of 342 wins, Prajanchai has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in ONE Championship as he boasts an impressive 5-1 record.

When Jonathan Di Bella faces Prajanchai in Bangkok, it could be the toughest fight of his life. The Italian-Canadian athlete is determined to do whatever it takes to come out victorious at ONE Friday Fights 58.
During an interview with ONE Championship, Di Bella acknowledged that he cannot foresee the way in which he will defeat the Thai phenom. However, he is confident that he will give his all in his world title defense.
“I don’t like to give predictions much. I just predict an exciting fight and a win for me, for sure, by any means necessary. However it is by decision or knockout, it doesn’t matter as long as I get the win and that’s it.”
