Jonathan Di Bella admits he’s been burning the midnight oil for Prajanchai clash: “Late nights of hard work all the time”
Jonathan Di Bella has reached his current position in his career through unwavering dedication and constantly striving to push himself.
His father instilled this strong work ethic in him from a young age, hoping that his son would one day become a kickboxer just like him.
Maintaining his focus and keeping his head to the ground has proven to be a successful strategy for the ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion. As he prepares for the biggest fight of his career, this same level of dedication continues to define his training camp.
At ONE Friday Fights 58, his goal will be to maintain his kickboxing title as he takes on the strawweight Muay Thai world champion, Prajanchai.
Despite reaching the peak of his career, Di Bella revealed to the South China Morning Post on April 5 that he continues to train with the same level of dedication and intensity.
“He [Jonathan Di Bella’s dad] is very strict with me. That’s why I’m fighting now, so that’s why I love here. I live in this house so like every day he wakes me up for this camp, we go, we go training, and you know early mornings and late nights of hard work all the time.”

The lasting impact of dedication: A tribute to Jonathan Di Bella
Although Jonathan Di Bella is a world class kickboxer himself, he still falls short in comparison to the amount of time Prajanchai has spent inside the ring.
Despite the impressive experience of the Thai world champion, few can match the vast amount of fights he has accumulated in his relatively young career at just 29 years old.
In order to return to Lumpinee and take on such a massive challenge, putting in the hard work in the gym will be the minimum requirement.
To maintain his title, Di Bella must utilize all the time he has dedicated to training in the gym, honing his technique and continuously improving, even during times when others may not have.
The 58th edition of Friday Fights will be broadcast live on Friday at Asian prime time through global PPV on watch.onefc.com.
