Steps to Become a Member of the Thieves Guild in Oblivion Remastered
Your journey begins by engaging in conversations with local residents and adventurers. This will unlock dialogue options to inquire about the shadowy figure known as the Gray Fox.
As you interact with various townspeople, you’ll eventually need to seek out the homeless in the Waterfront District of the Imperial City. A small bribe will entice them to divulge the Guild’s secrets, revealing that the Thieves Guild conducts nightly meetings at the Garden of Dareloth in the Waterfront District at midnight.
If you’re already familiar with the Gray Fox and the Thieves Guild, feel free to make your way directly to the Garden of Dareloth at midnight, bypassing previous inquiries.
To further your initiation, perform a theft in plain view of a non-playable character (NPC).This act will result in a bounty on your head, attracting the attention of local guards who will attempt to apprehend you.
Faced with arrest, you can opt to serve time in jail, effectively relinquishing your stolen goods (as you’ve experienced imprisonment earlier in the game).Once your sentence is complete, you will be approached by Myvryna Arano, a Dunmer who will extend an invitation to the midnight gathering at the Garden of Dareloth.
