Kim Jisoo, widely recognized by her stage name Jisoo, has officially announced that all four members of BLACKPINK will participate in the band’s upcoming comeback and tour. This exciting news was revealed during her appearance on the web talk show Salon Drip 2.
While Jisoo did not disclose a specific date for the anticipated comeback, she assured fans that it would occur later this year.“There are probably a lot of fans who are waiting for a BLACKPINK comeback as a whole, ”she stated, as reported by AllKpop.“We’re planning to put out an album and also go on tour. We’ll be coming back as four this year.”
Previous rumors indicated that the group’s return might take place in May, marking BLACKPINK’s first collaborative effort since the release of their Born Pink studio album in 2022.
Exploring BLACKPINK’s Solo Ventures
The individual members of BLACKPINK have been enjoying prosperous solo careers. Jisoo is set to unveil her mini-album Amortage on February 14. Beyond her music endeavors, she will feature in the zombie thriller Newtopia, co-starring with Park Jung Min, which premieres on February 7 via Prime Video.
In addition to Newtopia, Jisoo will appear in the film The Prophet: Omniscient Reader alongside notable actors such as Lee Min-Ho and Chae Soo-bin, as well as the drama series Boyfriend on Demand starring Seo In-guk.
Meanwhile, Jennie is preparing for the release of her studio album on March 7, which will feature collaborations with prominent artists. She also starred in the acclaimed series The Idol alongside The Weeknd and has been announced as part of the Coachella 2025 lineup, performing alongside headliners such as Lady Gaga and fellow BLACKPINK member Lisa.
Rose has recently debuted her album Rosie through Atlantic Records, with her single “Apt.”breaking several records and receiving significant acclaim.
Lastly, Lisa is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated studio album, Alter Ego, on February 28. Additionally, she is set to launch her collaboration “Born Again”featuring Doja Cat and Raye. Furthermore, Lisa is slated to appear in the third season of The White Lotus, which premieres on February 16.
