On October 22, 2024, BANGTANTV’s official YouTube channel unveiled episode 11 of Jin’s South Korean variety show, Run Jin, aptly titled “I Met a Ghost for Real.”In this episode, Jin conveyed his heartfelt affection for the fandom known as ARMYs.

“I worked tirelessly because this is what you, our fans, desired. As long as you wish for it, I will keep running. ARMY, I love you. Run Jin. Ah, I’m hungry,”he remarked.

Shortly after the episode aired, a segment showcasing Jin’s appreciation for ARMYs gained traction on various social media platforms, quickly going viral.

“My nini is just adorable; he is truly a bundle of joy,”tweeted one fan.

The fandom admired Jin’s bravery as he confronted his fear of ghosts, promising to reciprocate his dedication by supporting his upcoming album, Happy.

BTS’ Jin completed his mandatory military service and was discharged on June 12, 2024, after serving 18 weeks. He later hosted a live FESTA event on June 13, 2024, to celebrate the group’s eleventh anniversary, and he was also chosen to carry the torch, representing South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
