“JINJIDO REUNION”: BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, NCT’s Doyoung & GOT7’s Jinyoung Spotted Dining with Inkigayo Producers – Fans Share Their Reactions

On September 30, 2024, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, GOT7’s Jinyoung, and NCT’s Doyoung sent fans into a major frenzy. A recently shared photo went viral online, hinting at a potential reunion of the three former Inkigayo MCs. This intriguing picture was posted on Instagram by an Inkigayo producer.

According to reports, Jisoo, Jinyoung, and Doyoung gathered for dinner with Inkigayo producers and staff. Although no faces were visible in the Instagram story, all three K-pop idols were tagged in the post. The Inkigayo producer captioned the photo with:

“kids who never change.”

For those unfamiliar, Inkigayo is a popular music show aired on SBS where K-pop idols and groups compete weekly on the music charts, showcasing their latest songs. The trio hosted the show from February 2017 to February 2018.

The latest pictures caused an online meltdown among fans, who expressed their desire to see the trio back as hosts of Inkigayo once again. One fan expressed excitement on X:

“JINJIDO REUNION IN THE YEAR 2024 I SMILEDDDD.”

Even without the idols’ faces in view, observant fans recognized BLACKPINK’s Jisoo by the Dior lip glow product visible on the table.

“I think their group chat is still alive you guys. can we get a reunion soon please sbs inkigayo,”one fan wrote.

“Doyoung in black and the Dior lip glow by Jisoo. Also, Jinyoung is expected to be discharged from enlistment by November too. Can we get JinJiDo MC again?”another fan added.

“#JISOO recently had a meal with Jinyoung, Doyoung and a few Inkigayo staff. At first, I thought it was wrong information…. It took me.. 10 mins to process the whole thing,”another fan said.

Many fans expressed joy over the fact that the three K-pop stars had maintained their friendships through the years.

“Looks like Jinyoung is still on his long vacation and has a chance to meet up with Doyoung, Jisoo, and Inkigayo staff,”one fan expressed happiness.

“I hope it’s a meeting to discuss a future JinJiDo project,”another fan wrote.

“BRO?!!! WE GOT DOYOUNG WITH HIS JINYOUNG HYUNG AND HIS JISOO NOONA???!!! I NEED 2024 JINJIDO SELCA!!!”one other fan added.

Latest Activities of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, NCT’s Doyoung, and GOT7’s Jinyoung

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo recently completed filming for her upcoming Korean film Omniscient Reader’s Perspective, featuring Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop. She also finished filming the K-drama Newtopia (formerly titled Influenza), starring Park Jeong-min. Additionally, she was a prominent figure at Paris Fashion Week on September 25, 2024.

Earlier this year, NCT’s Doyoung made his solo debut and embarked on his first solo concert tour, Dear Youth. However, his activities faced a temporary halt following the arrest of former NCT member Moon Taeil for sexual assault. Doyoung successfully concluded his tour on September 21, getting emotional on stage.

Meanwhile, GOT7’s Jinyoung has been serving his mandatory military enlistment in South Korea since May 2023 and is set to be discharged in November 2024. He also played one of the male leads in Yumi’s Cell (2021-2022).

In other news, Jisoo is rumored to star alongside Seo In-guk in the upcoming drama Monthly Boyfriend.
