Jin Shares Heartfelt Moments of Reunion with BTS Members After Military Discharge

On October 23, 2024, the official BANGTAN TV YouTube channel released a touching video featuring Jin as he reflected on his heartfelt reunion with BTS following his military service discharge. Kim Seokjin shared his memories while en route to pick up j-hope from a military facility located in the Wonju area of Gangwon-do province, after completing his service on October 17.

The artist known for his hit “Awake”expressed his feelings regarding his discharge, stating:

“I don’t really remember what happened when the members came to see me,”

He further noted that while some moments were hazy, he distinctly recalled events after returning to the company headquarters. When he eventually viewed photos of his discharge, he found only images of the group members embracing.

“But later on when I saw photos of the members in the news, they were just hugging each other”

On June 12, 2024, Kim Seokjin, also known as Jin, made history by being the first BTS member to complete his mandatory military service, which he began on December 13, 2022. On his release day, he was met by his bandmates, including RM, j-hope, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook, who gathered outside the military facility in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do.

The BTS idol’s discharge was widely covered by the media, with numerous photographers capturing the moment. Unfortunately, SUGA was unable to attend due to prior commitments. However, he joined the group later at the HYBE building for a celebratory meet and greet.

Reports Indicate BTS’ Jin Wore Luxury Fashion Valued Over 70 Million KRW at Hobi’s Military Discharge

On October 18, Naver highlighted Jin’s extravagant fashion choice at j-hope’s military discharge ceremony. Sources indicated that the “Epiphany”singer’s outfit was worth more than 70 million KRW.

On October 17, 2024, Jin greeted j-hope, also known as Hobi, who became the second BTS member to complete his military duty after Jin. For the occasion, Seokjin sported high-end fashion from luxury brands Gucci and FRED, where he holds the position of global ambassador.

His look featured a striking red cotton blazer and matching trousers emblazoned with the iconic Gucci logo. Jin completed his ensemble with sleek black sunglasses and loafers, showcasing a sophisticated vibe. He also accessorized with an attractive mix of bracelets and rings embellished with diamonds and sapphires.

The Gucci jacket and pants from the 2024 FW collection were estimated to cost around 7 million KRW, while the sunglasses and loafers approximated 2 million KRW.

The jewelry worn by Kim Seokjin was valued at approximately 37.8 million KRW, including bracelets worth 17.7 million KRW and rings priced at 6.96 million KRW and 2.47 million KRW respectively. This brought the total estimated value of his luxurious outfit to around 70 million KRW.

After completing his military service, Jin was appointed as the global ambassador for the renowned French jewelry brand FRED on July 8. Subsequently, in August, the “Epiphany”artist secured another esteemed role as Gucci’s global ambassador.
