Jersey Shore star Sammi Giancola announces engagement to Justin May

On March 16, 2024, Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Gioncola, a cast member of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, excitedly announced her engagement on social media. She happily shared that her boyfriend, Justin May, had proposed to her, delighting her fans with the news.

In her post on Instagram, Sammi expressed that it was the simplest question she had ever responded to and mentioned feeling incredibly happy and fortunate to be the luckiest girl in the world.

“I’ll love you forever, and then some. Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

The MTV star made it clear that the announcement was not a prank for April Fool’s Day, as she shared the update with fans on April 1, 2024. Viewers were thrilled to see Sammi return to the Jersey Shore spin-off in its seventh season, and her boyfriend, Justin, even made a guest appearance.

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola made a comeback to Jersey Shore in season 7 as a part of Family Vacation. Prior to the season’s debut, Sammi discussed with Too Fab about Justin’s thoughts on her return to reality TV.

Sammi expressed that Justin had been incredibly supportive of her decision and acknowledged that he had made it “much more manageable”for her to come back to the show.

“He’s like a breath of fresh air, like I didn’t have to worry about him. He was like ‘Go for it. I support you.’ He’s very supportive and he’s awesome and I’m so thankful for that.”

In a recent episode, Justin was spotted by fans. The cast shared with Sammi that her ex-boyfriend Ronnie would be joining them in Nashville. While she was open to the reunion, she made it clear to Justin that there were certain boundaries she wanted to maintain out of respect for him. During the segment, she mentioned to Justin that the cast had discussed Nashville with her during a sit-down.

Sammi described the encounter as “uncomfortable”and reflected on whether she would feel at ease with her partner living in the same house as his former girlfriend.

Despite her expressing her discomfort with the situation, Justin reassured her that he was not bothered by her and Ronnie coincidentally being in Nashville at the same time.

He assured her of his trust and acknowledged that there was no longer any romantic connection between them. He suggested they take things as they come and comforted her by saying she would be fine. He also recommended that Sammi distance herself from uncomfortable situations and avoid getting into any altercations.

Sammi expressed her gratitude to the cameras in the confessional, stating that she felt fortunate to have Justin by her side as he helped ease her worries about Ronnie’s impending arrival. She also praised his supportive nature.

In August 2022, the celebrity posted on social media to commemorate one year of being together with her partner. Sammi shared multiple photos of the pair and described it as the “most incredible 365 days.”Justin also used social media to mark the occasion and referred to their time together as “an incredible year.”
