In an interview with Vanity Fair, he disclosed the reason behind his departure from the franchise. He explained that the Fab 5 had originally signed a 5-year contract with Queer Eye, which was set to end in 2022. Due to this contractual commitment, Bobby had already made commitments to other projects that were scheduled to take place after 2022, ultimately leading to his decision to leave the show.
