A Strategic Visit: NVIDIA CEO’s Appreciation for TSMC

During his recent trip to Taiwan, CEO Jensen Huang took every opportunity to emphasize TSMC’s significance in the semiconductor industry. In a media interaction, he remarked that anyone investing in TSMC’s stock would be a “smart person, ”underscoring the company’s pivotal position and anticipated high demand for their services in the months ahead.
Jensen Huang shed light on various developments at TSMC, including the initiation of trial production for the Rubin chip. He also noted the triumphant launch of the Blackwell Ultra production line, crediting TSMC for its critical support in delivering quality products. During his discussions with TSMC leadership, Huang expressed deep gratitude for their extensive collaboration, which has been instrumental in supporting NVIDIA’s current and future projects. As NVIDIA seeks to maintain momentum in the AI domain, TSMC’s performance is crucial to their ongoing success.
NVIDIA’s demand for TSMC’s manufacturing capabilities has escalated, positioning TSMC as its largest customer. Huang revealed that the new Rubin lineup will feature six innovative chips, including an advanced GPU, a Vera Rubin CPU, and various network interfaces, all being developed with TSMC’s support.
