During a conversation with Entertainment Tonight on Friday, March 29, 2024, Jenn Tran, the star of The Bachelorette season 21, announced that the upcoming season will not be filmed at the usual Bachelor mansion.
“I think what I’ve been trying to tell myself [is I’m the] first Asian Bachelorette, first PA student, we’re really breaking the mold this season. I feel like a new mansion is the perfect way to break the mold… I’m gonna bless it with some really good vibes.”She said.
The location for filming Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season has been confirmed to be the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California.
In the past, The Bachelorette seasons were typically filmed at the iconic ‘Bachelor’ Mansion in California, with the exception of Katie Thurston and Michelle Young’s seasons.

On March 25, 2024, it was announced that Jenn Tran, a contestant on The Bachelor season 28, would be the leading lady for The Bachelorette season 21. This 26-year-old student, who is studying to become a physician assistant, made history as the first Asian American woman to be the main lead in the ABC franchise.
Jenn Tran, the main lead of season 21 of The Bachelorette, revealed her passion for traveling. This season, Jenn and her potential suitors will venture beyond the borders of the United States to places like Australia and New Zealand.
During season 28 of The Bachelor, Jenn expressed her desire to visit Africa to Joey Graziadei, stating that it is one of the top destinations on her travel bucket list.
“I’ve always wanted to go to Africa my entire life. I love animals and I would love to go out in the sanctuaries, go on lots of safari rides, all that stuff. So maybe that’s in the cards.”
With only five participants left, the Miami resident’s journey came to an end as she was eliminated and sent home. However, with a newfound opportunity for love, fans eagerly anticipate the surprises that the new season has in store for them.
Jenn Tran’s energetic and kind-hearted nature earned her a devoted fan base, who were eager to learn more about her. According to her ABC bio for The Bachelorette, Jenn comes from a Vietnamese background and is fluent in both English and Vietnamese. She is looking for a partner who possesses qualities such as thoughtfulness and reliability.
“Jenn has had multiple serious relationships but is still looking for a man who’s as reliable and thoughtful as she is. When she’s not studying, Jenn loves reading books like “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,”paddleboarding, and traveling whenever she has the chance.”
During the After the Final Rose episode, the season 21 lead shared that she is seeking a “perfect match”with a “big personality”who can engage in “playful banter”with her. She also expressed appreciation for being given this opportunity, which will serve as inspiration for numerous Asian girls.
Despite the limited Asian representation in the media during her upbringing, Jenn found inspiration in leading her own love story, as she was only exposed to a few stereotypical roles. The premiere date for Jenn’s season has yet to be announced by the show’s producers.
