Jeff Williams, Apple’s COO, to Step Down This Month; Design Team to Report Directly to CEO Tim Cook

Jeff Williams, Apple’s Chief Operating Officer, is set to conclude his distinguished 15-year career with the company later this month, as announced in a recent press release. Sabih Khan, currently the Senior Vice President of Operations, has been named as Williams’ successor. This change signifies a shift in reporting structure, as Apple’s design team will from now on communicate directly with CEO Tim Cook, rather than through Williams.

Sabih Khan, who has dedicated 30 years to Apple, is praised as a brilliant strategist by Cook.
