Jade Cargill set to undergo a big change for WrestleMania XL – Reports
According to a recent report, WWE Superstar Jade Cargill is poised to undergo a major transformation for her appearance at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia.
Following her impressive performance in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Cargill caught the attention of the WWE Universe and was officially signed to a contract by Nick Aldis on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The 31-year-old will make her debut appearance at WrestleMania, which was announced by Aldis as a six-woman tag team match featuring her, Bianca Belair, and Naomi against Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL.
According to a recent report from Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, Cargill’s debut entrance on SmackDown was planned and developed by the company over a period of time. In the weeks leading up to it, multiple adjustments were made. It has been reported that there may be further modifications to the entrance at WrestleMania, as the intention was to establish a solid base for it on the most recent episode of the show.
Dutch Mantell impressed by Jade Cargill’s debut on WWE SmackDown
Regarding the show, Mantell also stated that he found certain parts unenjoyable and even began to doze off during them.
“Well, Jade Cargill looked great, she looked good, and Dakota Sky [Kai]. I hadn’t paid a lot of attention to Dakota Kai. That girl is really good, really good. She can hold her own with all of them, and Jade Cargill looked great. There were parts of the show that just put me to sleep. That’s what maintenance shows do. They just remind you, ‘Hey this is what we got coming up, but we can’t give all of it away here on this TV show.’ It was a good maintenance show, I guess, but I almost went to sleep in the middle of it.”
It is a highly anticipated desire among fans to witness a singles match between Cargill and Bianca Belair. It remains to be seen if this matchup will spark a potential rivalry between the two in the future.
