Jade Cargill breaks silence with six-word message after WWE SmackDown

Last week on WWE SmackDown, Jade Cargill made a statement as she addressed the WWE Universe for the first time since signing with the blue brand from AEW.

In 2023, Cargill joined WWE. However, it wasn’t until the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble that she finally stepped into the ring for her debut with the Stamford-based promotion. While competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, she successfully eliminated Nia Jax but was ultimately eliminated herself by Liv Morgan.

After making her official SmackDown debut, Cargill took to Twitter/X to share a brief six-word message. Her presence on the blue brand was immediately felt, as the former TBS Champion left a lasting impression on her first appearance.

“The STORM has arrived to #SmackDown!”wrote Cargill.

At WrestleMania 40, Cargill showed her support for Naomi and Bianca Belair by confronting Damage CTRL on SmackDown. Prior to this, she also took the time to address the WWE Universe during the show.

At The Showcase of the Immortals next week, Damage CTRL will take on the trio of Cargill, Naomi, and Belair in a six-woman tag team match.

Dutch Mantell Applauds Jade Cargill and the Evolution of Women’s Wrestling on SmackDown

Jade Cargill’s appearance on SmackDown sparked conversation among the WWE Universe. Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell was equally impressed by the 31-year-old’s performance.

In addition, he mentioned that Cargill’s debut appearance was exceptional.

“Well, Jade Cargill looked great; she looked good, and Dakota [Kai]. I hadn’t paid a lot of attention to Dakota Kai. That girl is really good, really good. She can hold her own with all of them, and Jade Cargill looked great. There were parts of the show that just put me to sleep. That’s what maintenance shows do. They just remind you, ‘Hey, this is what we got coming up, but we can’t give all of it away here on this TV show!’ It was a good maintenance show, I guess, but I almost went to sleep in the middle of it,”he said.

Cargill will be making her second appearance in a WWE match as she enters the ring at WrestleMania 40.
