When asked about her desired lifespan, IU thoughtfully replied, “I want to live until I’m 80.”She indicated her dedication to her career, adding, “I promised my fans that I would be a singer who would fill stadiums until I was 70.”

In the same interview, IU also discussed her stance on family wealth. Rather than seeking to inherit her parents’ assets, she revealed her intention for her siblings to equally share their parents’ legacy.“I’m financially independent now, ”she explained, stating her decision to withdraw from the inheritance discussion so that her parents can divide it among her three brothers and sisters instead.
