It’s not even funny anymore. Three copies of CoD Black Ops Cold War are enough to fill your PS5 drive

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is really gigantic. If we install three copies of Activision’s production, we will fill the PlayStation 5 drive.

It has been known for a long time that the creators of Call of Duty do not know about weight loss. The new installments of the cycle take over 200 GB on console and computer disks. The brand is a real bane of players who like to keep a few or a dozen games on their equipment.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, however, breaks all records. Currently, the title weighs about 220 GB on PS5. This means that you only need three copies of the game to fill your console’s SSD. It definitely shouldn’t be like this.

Of course, reducing the size of the game is perfectly possible. Compressing files shouldn’t be a big deal for seasoned Activision teams. What, then, prevents the reduction of the size of the Call of Duty giants? We don’t know.

However, I am not surprised by the players who give up the game due to the huge size of the games. I myself recently got rid of the Black Ops Cold War zombie campaign and mode from my PS5 hard drive. The files weigh way too much and hopefully Activision will tackle this issue in the next installment of the series.
