“It’s a good match-up stylistically” – Jonathan Di Bella breaks down Superbon and Marat Grigorian’s epic rivalry
Jonathan Di Bella, the current ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion, is of the opinion that the main event at ONE Friday Fights 58 could have either outcome.
The highly anticipated ONE Friday Fights 58 will take place at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, April 5. Fans are eagerly awaiting the main event, where Superbon and Marat Grigorian will battle it out for the interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world title.
There are additional stakes for Superbon and Grigorian, as they have faced each other twice before. In 2018, Grigorian achieved a 29-second knockout victory outside of the promotion. However, four years later, Superbon was able to avenge the loss with a unanimous decision win at ONE X.
Jonathan Di Bella shared his thoughts on the main event of ONE Friday Fights 58 during an interview with the South China Morning Post.
“It’s a crazy fight. It’s 50-50 on my end. I really can’t predict that one because they’re already 1-1 going into the fight. I’m very excited, it’s a good match-up stylistically. I feel like they could both win on points and they could both knock each other out. I’m 50-50, I’m split.”

Jonathan Di Bella aims for victory at ONE Friday Fights 58
Before the Superbon vs Marat Grigorian match, Jonathan Di Bella makes his long-awaited return to the ring in 2023. After successfully defending his title against Danial Williams, the undefeated Canadian-Italian champion is determined to hold onto his ONE strawweight kickboxing throne as he faces off against the equally skilled ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion, Prajanchai.
Prajanchai will be competing at ONE Friday Fights 58 following a recent victory. In December 2023, the Thai fighter was able to avenge a prior loss to Joseph Lasiri and reclaim the championship title with a dominant 88-second knockout victory at ONE Friday Fights 46.
The 29-year-old’s goal is to keep up the pace by achieving a historic feat and asserting dominance in two sports on Friday.
