Eersel expressed his satisfaction with the training experience he gained from working with the two skilled fighters.

Once again, ‘The Immortal’ will be defending his kickboxing title at ONE Fight Night 21 on April 5, facing off against French contender Alexis Nicolas at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok. This will mark his first defense of the world title since his split decision win against Russian opponent Islam Murtazaev in December 2021.

To prepare for his upcoming title defense this week, Regian Eersel and his team have established a training camp alongside Superbon and Nong-O, who are also participating in ONE Friday Fights 58.

During an interview with CountFilms TV, the Surinamese champion discussed his training experience in Thailand, stating:

“It was a good experience. He [Superbon] is very humble also and he said I’m welcome the next time also whenever I come to Thailand. I met all of them [Nong-O and Trainer Gae], and it was pretty intense. Also with the weather, it was very hot here so I was exhausted, you know.”
