The beloved Budokai Tenkaichi franchise makes its comeback with Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO. This game boasts an impressive selection of over 180 characters from various series, including Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and even selections from the Dragon Ball movies. Players can enjoy this experience on platforms like PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X and S.

For gamers curious about accessibility, particularly those on PlayStation, a common question arises: Is a PlayStation Plus subscription necessary to enjoy the game? The definitive answer is no. All offline features of the game can be accessed without the PlayStation Plus subscription.

PlayStation Plus Subscription Only Needed for Multiplayer Mode

Except for the online multiplayer component, all game modes in Sparking ZERO can be enjoyed solo and offline. While features like the World Tournament’s online mode do require a valid PS Plus membership, the rest of the gameplay is fully available without having to subscribe.
