Set in the imaginative realm of Euchronia, a fictional United Kingdom, players will take on the role of a young boy tasked with traversing the land to find a remedy for his ailing friend, the young prince. Meanwhile, the death of the king has left the throne open, igniting competition among various factions vying for public support to claim the crown.

In a twist, the protagonist discovers a hidden power enabling him and his companions to morph into formidable entities known as Archetypes, essential for battling monsters dubbed Humans. Drawing on elements from their previous titles, such as Persona 5, this grand adventure unfolds over days and months as the party journeys through the realm.

Progression revolves around forming new friendships, deepening bonds, and empowering allies. The brisk turn-based combat bears resemblance to the Press Turn and One More systems from the MegaTen series, emphasizing a strategic approach that exploits enemy vulnerabilities while enhancing allies’ strengths.
