Is It Worth Repaying Your Debt to Bozhena in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for the A Knight’s Word Trophy?

The prologue of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 sets the stage with Henry and Hans being aided by a knowledgeable herbwoman named Bozhena. As they navigate this challenging time, Bozhena not only helps them regain their footing but also imparts essential lessons in Alchemy, a skill that proves invaluable throughout the game’s journey.

Once they leave Bozhena’s care and continue towards Trosky Castle, players encounter the reality that returning to her is no longer an option. However, Henry expresses a desire to thank her for her generosity someday. This raises an interesting question: Should players consider returning to Bozhena to repay her kindness?

After the prologue, players can revisit Bozhena’s hut at their convenience, as it is marked on the map. Although her hut does not have its own icon, the surrounding meadow does, making navigation straightforward. The hut is equipped with an Alchemy Bench and a bed, enhancing its utility as a temporary shelter.

When players approach Bozhena and initiate conversation, they will be presented with an option to repay her kindness with 150 Groschen. This sum is significant, even in the later stages of the game, and it is essential to note that repaying her does not yield any tactical items or rewards aside from enhancing your reputation and earning the trophy “A Knight’s Word.” This trophy can only be obtained through compensating Bozhena, so for completionists aiming for every trophy, this payment is a must, though it can be deferred until later in the game to conserve funds.

Regardless of whether players choose to repay Bozhena, her home remains accessible, offering valuable resources:

  • Alchemy Bench for potion brewing
  • A bed for resting
  • Cauldron for cooking meals in the evenings
  • Training in archery provided by Pravlena
  • Alchemy training from Bozhena herself

A rich quest, titled “Bad Blood, ”emerges surrounding Bozhena and Pravlena. This quest can be initiated upon your return to their home post-prologue; however, it is independent of the repayment option, which can still be addressed at any time during the quest if you choose to do so.

After completing the quest, players will find Bozhena and Pravlena still residing at their home, casually discussing plans to move back to town in the future.
