Germaine de Randamie has built a strong reputation in her UFC career as one of the most skilled strikers in MMA. In addition, she is renowned for her friendly and caring personality in her personal life.

Despite being born in Utrecht, Netherlands and holding the former UFC women’s featherweight title, ‘The Iron Lady’ prefers to keep her personal life private. However, it is common knowledge that she has been in a committed relationship with Samantha for several years.

The couple, who currently lives in the Netherlands, has one child. Germaine de Randamie gave birth to her son, Isaiah, and shared a photo of the happy family on Instagram. In the post, ‘The Iron Lady’ tagged her partner Samantha de Randamie.

The Dutch MMA veteran, age 39, announced that their child Isaiah was born on March 20, 2023. De Randamie shared their joy in welcoming their son into the world and expressed it in the following post:

Currently, the unranked Germaine de Randamie is set to make her highly anticipated return to the octagon against Norma Dumont, the No. 11-ranked fighter in the UFC women’s bantamweight division and a beloved athlete from Brazil.

The bantamweight fight is set to take place at UFC Vegas 90, hosted at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on April 6, 2024. This will mark De Randamie’s first return to professional MMA competition since October 2020.

Along with their son Isaiah, Germaine de Randamie and Samantha also have the role of parents/guardians to their American bully XL dog, named Gerrit. In a 2023 interview with UFC Eurosport, ‘The Iron Lady’ stated that the birth of Isaiah has reignited her passion for combat sports and inspired her to make a comeback.

During the interview, which was released on the UFC Eurosport YouTube channel in Aug. 2023, the KO artist emphasized that her manager was in talks with the UFC for her next fight. She stated that she was currently in intense training and aiming to make her comeback in Oct./Nov. 2023.

Despite acknowledging that age may be catching up with her, De Randamie has discovered a newfound determination and drive after becoming a mother. She is determined to return to the octagon and make her son proud, as she holds titles in both the UFC women’s featherweight and bantamweight divisions.
