The car veers off course, crashing into a house and pinning one of the trick-or-treaters underneath.

The 118 crew arrives promptly and jumps into action. Chimney and Hen are among the first responders, and Hen’s shock and panic escalate upon discovering that Denny is the child trapped by the vehicle. They work frantically to lift the car off Denny, only to find that he is in critical condition.

Initial attempts to find Denny’s pulse are futile, but Hen’s quick decision to perform a field blood transfusion using Karen’s blood helps stabilize him momentarily. Following desperate chest compressions, the team successfully transports Denny into the ambulance and rushes him to the hospital.
