Does Delta Force Hawk Ops Offer Controller Support?

The game underwent a highly successful Alpha Testing phase, which garnered significant recognition and positive feedback from participants. It’s important to note that this Alpha version was also restricted to PC and did not extend to consoles, leading many to wonder about the developers’ future plans for cross-platform availability.

The Alpha Testing took place in July 2024. In advance of this testing phase, relevant details provided in the official Delta Force FAQs included the following statement:

“The playtest will support keyboard and mouse input, with plans for controller support in the future.”

This scenario has not changed even now. The recently released demo during the Steam Next Fest was announced with these key details:

Accessibility Window: October 14th UTC+0 8:00 (pre-download available now) to October 22nd UTC+0 3:00.
Platform: Open playtest available exclusively on PC via Steam, with progress resets.
Servers: Added additional regions in Asia and South America alongside North America and Europe.

It’s noteworthy that the “Platform”section highlights only PC as the supported medium at this time.

The development team has also indicated plans for an Early Access phase for Delta Force, which is intended to last for several months. This upcoming stage aims to provide players with a more refined gaming experience.

Despite this anticipation, Team Jade has yet to confirm whether controller support will be available during the Early Access phase. However, based on their previous statements, it appears likely that Delta Force Hawk Ops will incorporate controller compatibility following its official launch.
