Notably, reputable leaker Sonny Dickson shared these CAD visuals, remarking, “Everyone seems to be sharing the same iPhone 17 CAD, so I thought I’d share the ones I’ve seen.”
The Vanilla iPhone 17 Design
The shared CAD designs indicate that the standard iPhone 17 model will maintain the traditional vertical camera arrangement, mirroring the setup found in the iPhone 16.
Introducing the iPhone 17 Air
Another noteworthy reveal involves the iPhone 17 Air, designed to replace the “Plus”model with a sleek profile. This model reportedly features a pill-shaped camera module on its back, housing a single anticipated 48MP camera—identical to that of the iPhone 16.
Revised Designs for the iPhone 17 Pro Models
In stark contrast to the standard model, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to showcase some of the most significant design modifications for the camera modules. Reports indicate that these models will depart from the conventional triangular camera layout embedded in a square bump.
The latest renders depict the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max with triple cameras arranged in a triangular setup, but now within a rectangular, pill-shaped camera module that extends across the device’s width. Notably, while the cameras remain in their traditional positions, the LED flash, microphone, and LiDAR sensor have been relocated to the right side.
